Backcountry
Structural Engineering
focuses on mountain residential and resort work in the Colorado high
country. I strive
to bring a high level of reliable,
cost effective solutions to all my projects.
I
grew up in Breckenridge enjoying the outdoors and working miscellaneous
construction jobs. When
I left in 1999
to study structural engineering at the University of Colorado at
Boulder, I was
already planning my return. After
receiving a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree
from CU, I went
to work for KL&A, Inc a premier design firm on the Front Range.
I
have a portfolio of completed projects throughout the Western U.S. and
a strong
working relationship with many architectural clients.
I have attached a copy of my resume for your
reference. My
experience includes a
strong history in high-end mountain residential projects and resort
work, which
includes timber, post-tension concrete, and steel construction. I anticipate and attack
challenges early in
the design, and I am technically strong and very confident in my
structural
engineering ability.
I
have invested my time and knowledge in the premier Building
Informational
Modeling software, Revit Structure, to produce design documents. Using Revit Structure,
three dimensional
modeling allows me to achieve a high level of coordination and detail
in my
drawings.
I
welcome the opportunity to meet with you personally and to propose on
your
upcoming projects. Please
feel free to
